Modern Alameda Engagement Photographer at Hangar Vodka | Lele & Alan

Lele and Alan are a super fun couple that I got to spend some time with other day doing their engagement portraits. We started the day off in a vodka distillery which was really interesting. I have never shot in a place like that before. The architecture was stunning and we got a lot of really good shots. From there we walked around and got some pictures around the factory before heading over to Pier 3. The US Hornet was a great backdrop. Lastly we went to the park nearby and took casual, silly pictures. They wanted to end the day at Round Table Pizza, where they met, but it was getting pretty late. We had a wonderful day together and I can’t wait to see them again at the wedding!

Venue : Hangar Vodka, Andie Ferman

San Francisco Baby Portrait | Sofia & Adam

I shot Gino and Zena’s wedding in 2004 and today I became their family photographer! 3 year old Sofia & 10 month old Adam were my models for the baby portrait session this morning at their beautiful house in San Francisco. Shooting Adam was easy and fun because he just learned how to sit and he liked my camera a lot. In contrast, active Sofia was running around the house all the time which was good because candid shots show true expression from the kids. Thanks Gino and Zena for having me photograph your adorable family and I can’t wait to see you all again!

Ruby Hill Golf Club Wedding Photography | Cristina & Mark

I had the great pleasure of shooting the wedding of my ex co-workers, Cristina. We started the day in Castro Valley at Mark’s parents house. Their home is beautiful, it looks like a model home! We took the grooms pictures there before heading out to Cristina and Marks house for her getting ready pictures. I was familiar with the house already since we took some of their engagement pictures there. The wedding was grande and gorgeous. Rich, Mark’s dad helped me put together the slide show for the reception. I enjoyed working with him and looking through so many family pictures! I had a great time and I know the other guests did as well. Congrats you two!

Jill & Bryan | Maternity Portraits | San Ramon

Jill and Bryan were wedding clients of mine back in 2008. They are now pregnant with their first child and asked me to do a maternity portrait session with them in San Ramon. We started at my home studio in San Ramon and then ventured out to a  rustic location for more artistic angles and shots.  I also tried something this maternity session that I had never done before. I shot a video of the Jill and Bryan together. The video is just a few minutes long and consists of them talking about each other and their baby on the way. It turned out very sweet. I am so happy to have worked with this couple again and I wish them the best of luck!
